Maria was an early adopter of social media and with years gained in the corporate world as a software consultant she started her consultancy Pink Buzz to help small businesses, particularly in the fashion industry, coaching and other style consultants raise their online profile. She also runs a mastermind group for fellow style consultants.
Maria has been passionate about style since she first started dressing herself. From reading Vogue cover to cover in her teens to buying every style book in the shops whilst doing a ‘sensible job’, it was a natural progression for Maria to train as a style consultant and later to own and run her own women’s wear shops. During that time her passion for Capsule Wardrobes was born, creating the perfect combinations to help her customers feel as good as they looked. The experience of hunting down the right mix of clothes and accessories for her shops has been key in the development of her Capsule Wardrobe concept.
Having styled many women of all shapes, sizes and colouring and with the knowledge of how different brands fit, naturally lead Maria into creating a style blog – www.lookingstylish.co.uk – to help women feel fabulous all the time. It was at this point that she realised the articles that got the most views were those written around the Capsule Wardrobe concept and the germ of an idea for a Capsule Wardrobe service was born.
Maria now splits her time between her Looking Stylish blog, working with partner Caroline Wolf on Capsule Wardrobes and consulting on social media and online profile raising.
